Lab Details:
Students will choose their source database version, either Oracle 11g or Oracle 12c.
The lab includes all scripts and procedures for:
- Preparing the source database for upgrade
- Installing and configuring Oracle 19c and 21c homes and OS on the target system
- Performing the upgrade by migrating a non-container source database to 19c, converting the database to CDB and upgrading to 21c
- Completing post-upgrade steps... plus practical expert advice to simplify and streamline your upgrade!
Details:
Class Hours: This is a 2-hour live, interactive training class.
Class Structure: OraPub believes you learn more when you freely and actively engage during the training. This is why this workshop is full of live demonstrations and lots of Q&A time.
Watching Recorded Sessions: This class is recorded and will have a unique web page just for your class. The recordings can be streamed using any device, but not downloaded. You can re-watch the video as many times as you wish. The video and your unique class web page will be available for three years!

The ability to connect to the online training over the internet, hosted by Zoom. You do not need a microphone. Sean Scott, the instructor, is the only one that speaks, but all students are able to type their questions, answers, and comments... it's very lively! Oracle software is not required during the live training.
